picture-3i am addicted to twitter.  not all addictions are bad.  right?  so just hit the 1500 mark.  and wondering if i can hit the 2000 mark before the end of the year?  some of my peeps said by saturday.  but that might get annoying

picture-1and like most of you I check my twitter grade weekly.  i keyed in my location and found that I am number 7 in the whole peoria area.  I was number 2 last week.  not good for one week I dropped 5 spots.  my goal is by the end of the year to be back up to number 2 again.  we’ll see if i can make my goal by the end of the year.

the other day i had a kinda crazy clothes day.  i am a vintage clothes collector [probably the influence of one too many Seinfeld episodes from the famous Cosmo Kramer].  well i pulled my jean bell-bottoms topped with my vintage 79 corduroy blazer with the leather patched elbows.  this all topped by my current 70’s afro.  I was quite a sight.  then i saw this twitter come across from cameron strang.

to which i and my wife reply with the following twitters.

obviously my wife is not quite the vintage clothes fan that I am.  well this is a picture of what I was actually wearing.  had to take an awkward picture to capture the effect of the leather patches on the corduroy blazer.

I have filled my macbook pro with tones of trials to organize, to do list, and plan
my busy and chaotic life.  Husband, father of 5, pastor of two ministries, teaching team and the
list goes on and on.  my iphone has helped some because now most of these programs
go mobile with me.  I have recently added excel sheets for a color coded breakout
of where my time is spent during the week.  still it is overwhelming, and chaotic to
keep organized and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Any programs you have found that help in the on
going battle to stay organized?

my confidence in macs hit rock bottom this morning.  i’m like all of the rest of you.  i love mac products.  started with an ibook 4 years ago.  moved to a powerbook, then to macbook pro.  got an imac for our youth group, last December for birthday got an iphone.  i even have the apple tattoo on my back [just kidding about tattoo].  however today as i walked into the office and turned on macbook pro i was greeted with a gray screen with a circle and line thru it.  as i panicked and searched the web, i decided to try to load from leopard disc.  got to my boot screen and was able to restore from TIME MACHINE.  Yes the new creative and genius program that backs up all your computers files.  I am in the process of restoring from my 2:19pm back up from yesterday.  May lose work after that point but I should be ok.  Hope I don’t lose applications.  So at this point my confidence level is up to about 90%.  If this works I may still go for that tattoo.
