it was a massive cleaning day today at the escamilla’s household. as we were locating an unpleasant odor that had permeated the upstairs of our house we located a trashcan. as sara was getting ready to pull the bag out see found some liquid filling the bottom of the trash can. at first glance she thought it may have been just a rotten fruit that had liquefied but it was not. the next conversation ensued, josiah and micah does anyone know about urine in the trashcan? josiah no, micah “yeah why” yes that is right our son peed in the trashcan cause he did not want to come down and flush the toilet and wake someone up. i had the privilege of cleaning this trashcan. i just laughed the whole time. as my hands got wet cleaning the toilet.

my confidence in macs hit rock bottom this morning. i’m like all of the rest of you. i love mac products. started with an ibook 4 years ago. moved to a powerbook, then to macbook pro. got an imac for our youth group, last December for birthday got an iphone. i even have the apple tattoo on my back [just kidding about tattoo]. however today as i walked into the office and turned on macbook pro i was greeted with a gray screen with a circle and line thru it. as i panicked and searched the web, i decided to try to load from leopard disc. got to my boot screen and was able to restore from TIME MACHINE. Yes the new creative and genius program that backs up all your computers files. I am in the process of restoring from my 2:19pm back up from yesterday. May lose work after that point but I should be ok. Hope I don’t lose applications. So at this point my confidence level is up to about 90%. If this works I may still go for that tattoo.
I am having to switch from reverseyourworld.com which was hosted at blogger to reverseyourworld.wordpress.com. so why the switch? that can be summed up in one word:

yep the apple was the down fall in the garden in genesis. it was the downfall of snow white. it has now been the downfall of my blogspot account. sorry blogger you did not offer the web app for me to update and view my blog from my apple iphone. so i can no longer use you. it was good while it lasted but it is over now.
This year on July 25th Sara and I celebrated 10 glorious, adventurous, exciting, and fun years of marriage. Due to the fact that we are youth pastors and summers are really busy we settled for a 3 day get away in the month of July. However 10 years can’t be celebrated by sneaking away for a few days. So on Sept. 6th we fly out to Miami to go on our first cruise. I am so excited and I can’t wait. It is a much needed vacation in our lives. So here is to sunny beaches, eating good food, spending a week with just me and sara. Any ideas for a great anniversary gift to give my wife, please comment below
